EDWARDSVILLE, Pa.--Apr. 30--For more than a year, Redner's Warehouse Market fought a legal battle for the right to open a store in the Mark Plaza.
The company won.
Now, as Redner's prepares for its May 13 opening, it's getting ready for a war.
And, this time, the winner could be the consumer.
Industry experts expect Redner's to come out swinging and try to hit the competition where it hurts - the pocketbook.
"With Redner's, there is an emphasis on price.
Unlike Shop Rite or ShurSave, Redner's will aggressively go after the bottom line," said Mark Brown, editor of Food Trade News of Conshohocken.
