BELLEVILLE, Ill.--Jul. 16--When you grab a cold can of soda pop at the convenience store or choose some cookies from your local bakery, you may be using products manufactured at Federal Industries in Belleville.

But you probably wouldn't know it, and that's just fine with the company.

Federal Industries makes display cases that show off foods in grocery stores, convenience stores, bakeries and restaurants.

"Our cases are doing their job when people say, `did you see the beautiful cheesecake at Marshall Field's (restaurant)?' " said John Minahan, director of sales and marketing.

The idea is to create cases that will enhance, not distract from, the food they display.
