Toyota Starts Drug Testing, Anti-Harassment Training at Kentucky Plant.

Oct. 14--Toyota is training its Georgetown employees on how to avoid sexual harassment and is implementing random drug testing to avoid a repeat of last year's firings for violations of company policies.
Random drug testing and expanded testing of hair samples were discussed earlier this year. That policy will take effect Dec. 1, said Pete Gritton, vice president for human resources.
All managers have already submitted to the hair test and passed, spokesman Tom Harris said.
The sexual-harassment policy has not changed -- it is still prohibited -- but the company has stepped up its training efforts and will continue to do so, Gritton said.
