U.S. Bank Decides Against Moving Offices in Pueblo, Colo..

Jan. 28 -- Pueblo's oldest bank will be staying put.

U.S. Bank has scrapped plans to consolidate its Downtown offices at First and Main and will stay in the Thatcher Building, according to Alice Birch, vice president for operations in Pueblo.

The company had considered moving out of the Thatcher Building and into a new structure, which would have been built at First and Main where the bank currently has a drive-through branch.

"The advisory board and officers really wanted to stay at Fifth and Main," Ms. Birch said.
