Hackensack, N.J., Car Dealership to Close after 90 Years.

Feb. 12 -- Stillman-Hoag Buick, widely thought to be New Jersey's oldest family-owned car dealership, has ceased operations after 90 years.
John Stillman wasn't looking to sell the historic Englewood dealership started by his great grandfather in 1909. But General Motors made him an offer he couldn't refuse, for both that dealership and the nearby Chevrolet dealership he owned. And for the first time since 1909, the Stillman family was out of the auto business.
"The offer was probably in excess of the (dealership's) value," Stillman said. "I have to think of my family."
