Procter & Gamble Hurries to Find Health Services for 1,200 Employees.

Mar. 19 -- MEHOOPANY, Pa. -- Procter & Gamble is trying to negotiate a plan that will allow 1,200 employees affected by the Tyler Memorial Hospital-Penn State Geisinger dispute to continue to receive care at Wyoming County's only hospital.

Procter & Gamble officials declined to discuss specifics, but said they are working hard to prevent a disruption of health care service for their employees.

"Obviously, we're disappointed the two sides didn't settle," said Joseph DeMarco, public relations manager. "We're talking with both to see which options we have to keep Tyler in our network even though they're not in the Geisinger network."
