Former Secret Service Chief Heads to Oakton, Va.-Based Firm.

Mar. 22 -- Eljay B. Bowron hopes to use his experience as former director of the U.S. Secret Service in his new job at the Oakton-based security company Vance International Inc.
Next Monday, Mr. Bowron will begin his new position as senior vice president for Vance, where he will work on both security and investigative issues. He joins the company after serving in several government positions and more than 22 years with the Secret Service, climaxing with his appointment as director from 1993 to 1997.
"I really enjoyed and felt good about my government service," Mr. Bowron said. "I felt like it was important work and I was able to make a contribution."
