Apr. 19 -- The Martin Agency has been getting people into Wrangler's jeans for 10 years. But the relationship finally wore out.

Wrangler has decided to loosen its ties with Martin and is beginning a review to find a new agency.

For now, Martin will continue to buy media for Wrangler, which means the revenue stream from the jeans maker won't dry up altogether.

But the agency, which is Richmond's largest, won't be doing any more creative work for Wrangler.

"This was our first national consumer brand," said Dean Jarrett, a Martin spokesman. "They are one of the clients who helped get us where we are today."

Both sides said that, after 10 years, it was time for a change.
