Apr. 26 -- CENTER FILLS UP: It sounds like that big empty space at Old Farm Shops, Champaign, won't be vacant much longer.

"All the space is spoken for," said Dan Hamelberg, owner of the shopping center at Kirby and Mattis avenues.

Hamelberg said all the square footage formerly occupied by Pages for All Ages bookstore, which moved to Savoy, will be taken up by two new shops and existing tenants who are expanding.

He declined to identify any of them, saying he has agreements in principle but no signed leases yet.

The target completion date for the new stuff is the end of summer, Hamelberg said.
