Apr. 28 -- The restructuring savings and aggressive programs to increase revenues and acquire more companies give Banta Corp. a strong chance for a profitable future, two Banta executives said Tuesday., Donald Belcher, chairman and chief executive officer, said at the annual shareholders meeting the company is committed to significantly improving earnings and shareholder value.

The promise comes on the heels of a decline in the stock price, which was reversed earlier this month with an announced restructuring plan that is eliminating 650 jobs and closing three underperforming plants.
