California Start-up to Supply Home Networking Technology to Cisco Systems.

May 11 -- In what could be a big boost for ShareWave Inc., the cutting-edge El Dorado Hills start-up has struck a deal to provide a new generation of home networking technology to computer industry giant Cisco Systems.
The technology allows consumers to link computers, modems and other digital devices in the home via radio waves.
"It's a big vote of confidence. Anytime you pair with a company like Cisco, it's a big win for you," said Mike Wolf, an analyst with Cahners In-Stat, a research firm in Scottsdale, Ariz.
