Jun. 28 -- WASHINGTON -- BUSH LEARNING HIS ECONOMICS FROM EXPERTS: As he begins his quest for the White House, Texas Gov. George W. Bush has returned to school.

But this time, the professors are coming to the student. And they are prepping their pupil to win the Republican presidential nomination in hopes of winning the White House in 2000.

The topic? Economics.

Many students might want to cut class, given the subject. But Mr. Bush has enrolled the services of about 10 scholars, all part of an intensive course designed to help him formulate campaign proposals on taxes, trade, social security and other pocketbook issues.
