Two Officers Resign at Fort Worth, Texas-Based Business Finance Company.

Jul. 3 -- FORT WORTH, Texas -- KBK Capital Corp., a Fort Worth-based small business finance company, said two corporate officers have resigned and the company expects to report a small quarterly loss.
Chairman Robert McGee said an unsuccessful acquisition attempt produced $300,000 in expenses during the year's second quarter, which ended Wednesday.
"This will result in our company reporting a modest loss," McGee said. Wall Street analysts had forecast earnings of 11 cents a share. KBK's announcement came after the close of trading yesterday.
KBK said Chief Financial Officer Jay K. Turner and marketing manager J. Dugan Smith resigned to pursue other interests.
