Four-Year Old Detroit Newspapers Dispute Gets Hoffa's Attention.

Jul. 15 -- Teamsters President James P. Hoffa will lead a rally of union members and supporters on Lafayette Boulevard today to mark the fourth anniversary of the labor dispute at Detroit's two daily newspapers.
But the rally outside the newspapers' offices is less significant than Hoffa's presence.
It is the first time the son of the late legendary Teamsters leader James R. Hoffa has been involved in the dispute publicly since taking over the union in March.
After dealing with several bigger, more pressing labor contracts, Hoffa could be turning his attention to the newspaper conflict to get it off the table and make room for his own agenda.
