Aug. 4 -- It could happen: Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Martha Stewart.
World Wrestling Federation Entertainment Inc., an enterprise that boasts the likes of Austin and The Rock among its roster of more than 100 televised performers, filed registration papers yesterday for an initial public stock offering of up to $172 million.
The WWF filing came days after Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia Inc. registered for an IPO of its own, seeking to raise up to $100 million.
