Aug. 12 -- Ready to be glazed and confused?

Krispy Kreme, maker of the fluffy doughnut that caused traffic jams in Arlington, has picked out Metroplex location No. 2 -- in Grapevine.

And it won't just be a place to make dough. A planned Grapevine "doughnut depot" will truck the sweet treats to convenience stores across the Metroplex.

"It's right at the center of Grapevine-Colleyville-Southlake," said John Orrell, a Colleyville resident who is one of three partners in the Fort Worth-Dallas franchise. "It's a real good traffic count, and it's just a growing area. It's going to be a great site for us."
