Bids Due Today on Folsom, Calif., Office Site.

Sep. 10 -- Multimillion-dollar bids from developers and companies looking for a home in Folsom are expected to come in today for some of the most desirable office land in the Sacramento region.

Up for grabs is the Money Store's 125 acres of rolling, oak-studded land above Highway 50 and west of East Bidwell Street that not long ago was envisioned as a $200 million office campus that could house some 10,000 employees.

The asking price is $20 million -- reportedly about $5.5 million more than the company paid Elliott Homes Inc. for the land last year. The buyer, if somebody takes all 125 acres, also would be on the hook for $5.4 million in bonds. Bids are due today.
