Sep. 25 -- NONE HURT AS SHIP RUNS AGROUND: Norwegian Cruise Lines' newest ship, the Norwegian Sky, ran aground around noon Friday in the St. Lawrence Seaway while turning at the juncture of the Saguenay River, some 60 miles south of Baie-Comeau.

The ship, which entered service in July, was taken off the river bed and is afloat; it will be inspected by divers before it is allowed to proceed. Some 1,900 passengers and 787 crew members were on board the ship at the time of the accident.

The 77,104-ton ship is on a 10-day "Canada/New England" cruise that departed Boston on Sept. 18.
