Sprint Completes Deal for Wireless TV, Internet Service.

Sep. 30 -- Sprint completed its acquisition Wednesday of People's Choice TV and its SpeedChoice subsidiaries, which combined have about 4,000 wireless television and high-speed Internet customers in the Phoenix area.
The acquisition will enable Sprint to bring to the Valley its Integrated On Demand Network, or ION, service that includes local and long-distance telephone service and high-speed internet access. Sprint plans to offer the service for a flat fee that could include virtually unlimited long-distance calling.
