California-Based Internet Firm's Former Executive Pleads Not Guilty.

Oct. 13 -- LOS ANGELES -- Patrick Naughton, the former Infoseek Corp. executive arrested last month after he allegedly arranged a sexual rendezvous with an FBI agent posing as a 13-year-old girl, appeared in federal court Tuesday and pleaded not guilty to three felony charges.
While other manacled suspects entered pleas with court-appointed lawyers, Naughton sat calmly in the back of the small, crowded court room, accepting notes from reporters and eyeing his high-powered lawyers for his cue to come forward.
When his turn came, Naughton politely and confidently answered U.S. District Court Judge Jeffrey W. Johnson's perfunctory questions, standing erect as he entered his plea.
