Oct. 25 -- The ticket-scalping scene outside Fenway Park during the recent baseball playoffs was the same as during the season -- any fans who ended up on game day with an extra ticket or two and tried to peddle them ran the risk of being told by police officers it was illegal to do so, even at face value.

Earlier this year Boston police arrested a minister when five members of his youth group were no-shows at Fenway and he tried to sell their tickets at no profit.

But now, it seems, this draconian interpretation of the state's scalping law ...
