Nov. 2 -- The Center for Economic Education at Bradley University is receiving some national recognition that not only will help it financially, but shows it's doing a good job.
The center recently received Five Year Full Affiliation status from the National Council on Economic Education, the highest commendation from the national council which is celebrating its 50th year this year.
Bradley's center was awarded the status based on its work of the past five years, which has been aimed at teaching not only economics, but the importance of economics education.
It's part of the NCEE's EconomicsAmerica program, established to raise public awareness of the need for economic literacy.
