Dec. 3 -- ORANGE, Calif. -- In the latest twist on Internet auctions, Bergen Brunswig Corp. on Wednesday launched a Web site to auction everything from flu vaccines to plasma.
The Orange-based company, the nation's second-largest medical product distributor, said it is the health-care industry's first auction site for pharmaceutical products.
The site will allow doctors, hospitals and medical clinics an alternative way to buy supplies -- and manufacturers a way to move over-stocked inventories or products with a short shelf life.
