Dec. 7 -- WINGS SEMINARS BUYS FORMER VA CLINIC BUILDING: Wings Seminars has found a permanent nest for itself.
After years of renting space, the personal development company has bought the building formerly occupied by a Veterans Administration medical clinic on West Eighth Avenue in downtown Eugene and plans to spend $350,000 renovating the 8,000-square-foot property.
"We've been leasing for quite some time and wanted to own our building and have a real home base," said Susan Rodgers, director of administration.
The company's lease in a nearby office building expires next year, and the firm wanted to stay downtown, she said.
