Infoseek CEO Suggests Former Executive Admitted to Online Sex Charges.

Dec. 9 -- LOS ANGELES -- Former Infoseek executive Patrick Naughton appeared to have incriminated himself in a telephone conversation with his boss the day after his arrest on charges related to soliciting sex with a minor over the Internet, according to testimony in federal court Wednesday.

Harry M. Motro, chief executive of Infoseek Corp., took the stand as a prosecution witness and testified that he called Naughton's work phone and cell phone after learning that Naughton had been arrested on the Santa Monica pier in a FBI sting operation.

"I've heard some disturbing rumors," Motro said in his messages to Naughton. "Please call me as soon as you get this message."
