Texas Christian University Business School Names New Dean.(Knight Ridder/Tribune Business News)

Mar. 1--Texas Christian University, which is trying to revamp its M.J. Neeley School of Business, said yesterday that it has hired a University of Oklahoma veteran as its new dean.
Robert Lusch (pronounced lush) has worked at Oklahoma for 26 years, including a five-year stint as dean of OU's business college. Since 1996, he has held endowed positions in marketing and research and, during his academic career, has written 14 books and more than 150 articles for professional journals.
As dean from 1987 to 1992, he helped expand the business endowment to $15 million, from $1.5 million, he said. TCU officials added that Lusch also improved the school's public profile despite tough economic times in Oklahoma.
