Jun. 13--In the ever-changing business world, accelerated by the explosion of the technology industry, it's becoming increasing harder to tell your friends from your enemies.
Within the next month, two computer competitors, Farmington Hills-based Compuware Corp. and IBM Corp. are to complete their move into the iTek Center at 15555 Lundy Parkway in Dearborn..
Both companies are handling the continued building and maintenance of Ford Motor Co.'s computer systems.
Ford uses more than 1,500 software applications for operations ranging from manufacturing, marketing and sales to product development and finance.
IBM's system-building contract is valued at $300 million while Compuware's maintenance deal is worth $500 million.
