California Polytechnic State University, Pomona Students Win Marketing Prize.(Knight Ridder/Tribune Business News)

Jun. 19--A Cal Poly Pomona graduate student and his undergraduate colleague took first place in the second annual GYL Decauwer Competitive Marketing Edge Program.
Both were recognized for their work in creating a marketing plan for a Riverside company that makes mobile offices and storage facilities.
Ron Paquette, a graduate student, and Devin Locke, a junior at California Polytechnic State University, Pomona, took the top prize for a marketing plan they helped devise and assess for Williams Scotsman Inc.
The placement was worth $1,500 to each student. Awards were presented June 13 at a dinner at Kellogg West Conference Center on the Cal Poly campus.
