Jul. 6--A Denver-based equity firm recently bought Longmont's Case Logic, best known for its compact disc and camera cases.

KRG Capital Partners acquired the 180-employee company from Case Logic's former parent company, Netherlands-based Hagemeyer N.V. Executives expect the deal to close later this month.

"I first looked at Case Logic 10 years ago," said Mark M. King, a managing director for KRG. "I considered buying them then. I admire how they grew the business and built a great culture as well."

Case Logic did not return phone calls Wednesday.
