World Airways to Relocate from Suburban Washington to Atlanta Area.(Knight Ridder/Tribune Business News)

Jul. 21--Peachtree City, home to many airline employees, soon will be home to an airline's headquarters.
World Airways, a small charter carrier headed by former Delta Air Lines president and longtime Peachtree City resident Hollis Harris, said Thursday it is moving its headquarters from suburban Washington to the Fayette County city.
It will occupy a new office building on a strategically located parcel --- owned by Harris and his family --- at Peachtree City's northern entrance.
Harris said Air Eagle Properties, which he formed with his wife and children, recently bought the 6 1/2-acre parcel on the northeast corner of Peachtree Parkway and Ga. 74 from Pathway Communities. It will also own the four-story, 60,000-square-foot building being...
