We should have seen it as clearly as I saw the sleek, golden Mercedes racing up to my bumper on Highway 101 Wednesday morning.
Nice car. Good-looking man driving. The package had the look that said, "I spend half my day grooming my hair and the other half grooming my car."
The Mercedes pilot was a grown man who drove with the abandon of a teenager. He was a man who believed the rules didn't apply. He was arrogant and invincible.
