Aug. 25--Richmond-based eMarketWorld.com has lured a senior executive from USA Today to head up development of the company's Internet strategies.
The company said yesterday that former USAToday.com Publisher and Senior Vice President Lorraine Cichowski is joining the local firm as president and chief operating officer of Internet development.
eMarketWorld organizes and coordinates industry conferences and trade shows designed to provide opportunities for networking and educating business executives on how their firms can best use the Internet.
Part of Cichowski's job will be developing an additional strategy.
eMarketWorld.com plans to begin promoting its Web sites as places for conference participants to exchange more information...
