Sep. 3--Behind every good sales or marketing worker is a good support team.
And more and more often, that team works for an outsourcing company that provides specialized support services -- such as clerical work -- for sales workers, according to a new study by Dun & Bradstreet Inc.
The study predicts that spending for marketing and sales support will grow 30 percent in the next year. The growth is being fueled by the strong economy, which is driving sales.
People are buying so much more, salespeople need more administrative help to keep pace with demand, said Dun & Bradstreet, which conducted the study for the Outsourcing Institute, a company that provides services for the outsourcing industry, and Spherion Inc., a $3.8 billion staffing and...
