Chicago-Based Insurance Firm to Open Another Office in Fort Wayne, Ind.(Knight Ridder/Tribune Business News)

Oct. 27--FORT WAYNE, Ind.--A unit of Aon Corp., which already has a number of operations in Fort Wayne, will open offices with 105 employees here early next year.
Alternative Market Operations, a specialty underwriter, plans to begin operations in the first quarter of 2001. The largest Fort Wayne operations of Chicago-based Aon are K&K Insurance and Innovative Services of America.
Alternative Market Operations will be the major tenant in Dupont Office Center II. The 65,800-square-foot building was constructed at Dupont and Auburn roads by Miller-Valentine Group.
Miller-Valentine will begin construction of a third office building at the site this month.
