Changes in Flight Schedule at Aberdeen, S.D., Airport Have Little Effect.(Knight Ridder/Tribune Business News)

Nov. 4--A new flight schedule hasn't made much of a difference in the number of airline seats available to Aberdeen area travelers, a Mesaba Airlines official said.

The new schedule went into effect Oct. 15. The most noticeable difference is the loss of a direct evening flight from Minneapolis, that immediately returned to the Twin Cities. The number of flights offered each day, though, is still the same. "All of our flights to and from Minneapolis are direct; however, we do share flights with Pierre and Watertown," said Tom Schneider of Mesaba in Aberdeen.

Daily departures to the Twin Cities under the new schedule are: -- 7 a.m. (except Sunday), from Pierre, -- 8:55 a.m. from Watertown, -- 12:50 p.m. from Pierre, -- 2:40 p.m. from Watertown, -- 6:25...
