Health System Names Top Official to Run Raleigh, N.C., Hospital.(Knight Ridder/Tribune Business News)

Jan. 10--RALEIGH, N.C.--Duke University Health System named one of its top officials to run Raleigh Community Hospital, cementing Duke's control of the hospital it purchased in 1998.
James Knight, a vice president with the Duke health system, replaces James Raynor as Raleigh Community's chief executive officer. Raynor agreed to resign as Duke brings in an executive it hopes can strengthen the programs and services at Raleigh Community using both Duke faculty and Raleigh Community doctors.
