Jan. 27--Average life spans of 130 years and an Internet with its own conscience.

That's the future Silicon Valley businessman Chris Gulker sees for today's high school students and the vision he shared yesterday with students at Western Reserve Academy in Hudson.

However outrageous his predictions of technological evolution may sound, Gulker is a techie who has helped technology change the world.

He was there to help one of the first major metro newspapers, the San Francisco Examiner, convert to computer publishing. He was there alongside Steve Jobs contributing to the revival of Apple Computer in the mid-1990s.
