Borders Books to Open Store in Virginia Beach, Va.(Knight Ridder/Tribune Business News)

Jan. 30--Borders Books & Music plans to open its first Hampton Roads store in May.
The 25,000-square-foot book, music and video store will be a major anchor in the new Marketplace at Hilltop shopping center going up at Laskin and First Colonial roads in Virginia Beach.
Other stores coming to the shopping center include Michaels Arts & Crafts, Vivo Cucina Italian restaurant, a wine shop, Gary Allen Hair & Skin Care Center and Image Uniforms.
Some -- like Michaels and Gary Allen -- are simply relocating from spots in nearby shopping centers.
Others are new. Vivo Cucina is the latest venture of At Your Service Restaurant Group, the local partnership behind Five 01 City Grill, Atlas Diner, Atlas Grill and Bar, and Chick's Oyster Bar....
