Seattle-Based Technology Firm Closes Doors Due to Lack of Funding.

Feb. 10--On Friday, FizzyLab will fizzle out.
The Seattle company plans to shut its doors and halt its subscriber-based services. Most of FizzyLab's customers are newspapers, including The Seattle Post-Intelligencer and The Denver Post. Its technology links stories on the papers' Web sites.
The company laid off about 50 employees two weeks ago with the hope of nailing down new funds, said Scott Hudson, chief executive and co-founder. But he was unable to secure more funding after raising $9.5 million in May.
