Boeing Opens Orlando, Fla., Office, Plans to Add As Many As 100 Jobs.

Feb. 20--Spurred by increased prospects in the training simulator business, aerospace giant Boeing Co. has established operations in Orlando and expects to add up to 100 jobs during the next several years, the company said Monday.
Boeing's move is part of a growth spurt in Central Florida's simulation-training business that could generate hundreds of high-tech jobs, industry officials said.
The Seattle-based defense contractor opened its new unit a couple of months ago and plans to add staff as it receives contracts from military training organizations in Orlando, company officials said.
