Speaker Manufacturer Makes Noise in Miramar, Fla.

Mar. 12--JL Audio, which manufactures speakers and other audio equipment for cars, has grown in 10 years from a small firm selling strictly to local buyers into an international company with sales to specialty retailers in every state and 57 countries. JL is now expanding its 92,000-square-foot space in the Miramar Park of Congress by an additional 20,000 square feet. In addition to its Miramar headquarters, the company has a design facility in Phoenix, and factories in Asia and Germany.
