Study Reveals Dangers in Filing Taxes Online.

Mar. 16--A government investigation that showed potential holes in the security at the Internal Revenue Service is not expected to deter millions of taxpayers who file electronically to get speedier refunds.
The General Accounting Office said Thursday that government investigators invaded IRS systems last year and were able to view sensitive information on tax returns filed electronically. The IRS said no outside hackers penetrated its computers and that it has addressed the security concerns raised by the report.
