Boeing Announces Plan to Move Headquarters from Seattle.

Mar. 22--SEATTLE--Boeing is moving its headquarters out of Seattle. The words no one ever expected to hear spread through this city Wednesday morning like news of an unimaginable divorce or a report that the Space Needle was being relocated to Dallas.
After having Boeing as the city's signature company and employment anchor for 85 years, many people couldn't quite fathom how the aerospace giant could just suddenly announce that it would be headquartered in Chicago, Dallas or Denver as soon as next fall.
