Boeing Relocation Could Mean Big Boon for Colorado Economy.

Mar. 22--The potential relocation of Boeing Co.'s corporate headquarters to Colorado could mean a windfall for the state's arts and cultural facilities, given the company's reputation for philanthropy, local arts leaders said Thursday.

"It certainly would be good news for us if Boeing moves here," said Dorothy Denny, development director of the Denver Center for the Performing Arts. "I'm sure we all feel that way, and there is plenty of need."

Boeing last year gave away $45.5 million worldwide to charitable causes, with $7.4 million of that going to arts and culture, according to company officials. Nearly $16.9 million was donated in Boeing's current home state of...
