Britton, S.D., Electronic Circuits Plant Lays Off 25 Employees.

Mar. 30--Sheldahl Inc. has announced plans to lay off nearly 30 percent of the workforce at its Britton plant.
The layoffs were announced in Britton Thursday and are immediate and permanent, according to Sheldahl spokesman Matt West.
The move leaves 25 of the plant's 84 full-time employees without jobs. Last week, Sheldahl announced that it was laying off 20 percent of its workforce company-wide. The Britton plant produces circuitry often used in the automotive and computer industry.
A slowing economy forced the move.
