Mar. 2--RALEIGH, N.C.--Travis Cole doesn't like to carry cash, which used to be a problem for his daily Taco Bell runs.

Not anymore. The 20-year-old computer technician can now pay with his cellular phone.

It's an example of "m-commerce" -- or mobile purchasing -- which some predict is the consumer convenience trend of the future.

Two North Raleigh Taco Bell restaurants have just started testing "2Scoot," a program that allows customers to pay for food on their credit or debit cards -- without producing the cards.
