Tennessee Governor to Help Break Ground for Automotive Seat Frame Plant.

Apr. 6--Job-hungry Grundy County is preparing for a feast.

Tenn. Gov. Don Sundquist is set to help break ground today for Toyo Seat USA Corp.'s new $12 million plant at Pelham, Tenn. Toyo Seat USA, a subsidiary of Japan-based Toyo Seat Ltd., will eventually employ about 200 people in the manufacture of automotive seat frames.

"Toyo Seat has found a strong work force and pro-business environment in Tennessee," Gov. Sundquist said in a prepared statement. "We are proud Toyo Seat has chosen to locate a facility here, and we look forward to working with the company to ensure successful business growth and job creation in Pelham and Grundy County."
