Orlando, Fla., Hotels Bounce Ideas about New Arena at NBA Team.

Apr. 8--The Orlando Magic and area hoteliers agreed to take a timeout from trading barbs Friday and talk about the team's desire for a new arena vs. renovating the TD Waterhouse Centre.
"It was a very productive meeting," said Richard Maladecki, president of the Central Florida Hotel & Lodging Association. "We had a very open and frank conversation, and we discussed in great detail the concept of retrofitting the arena.
"The Magic agreed to work with us and we with them, so there was a true partnership developing."
Both sides will meet again Monday to form a committee to discuss the concept further.
