Former Head of Disney's Internet Division to Lead ABC Television.

Apr. 11--Walt Disney Co. has tapped former Internet division chief Steven M. Bornstein to lead ABC Television, a key segment of the company that has been struggling amid a softening advertising market and declining ratings for its leading show.

Disney said Bornstein will replace Robert F. Callahan to oversee the network, ABC's 10 company-owned television stations and Buena Vista Television, which provides syndicated TV programming.

Callahan, who will stay on the job until September, is resigning to be with his family on the East Coast, Disney said. Callahan, a 20-year ABC veteran, was on vacation and unavailable for comment, a spokeswoman said.
