Apr. 16--Harold Steely has made one job change in 30 years as a banker, so he's fond of employees who have the same resilience.
"I haven't job-hopped," said Mr. Steely, president of community banking for Wells Fargo Texas' retail banking division. "I see people who do that, and at this day and time it may be beneficial, but I'm not sure how it looks on a resume. I prefer people with some stick-ability."
Mr. Steely is in charge of the bank's retail branches in the Dallas-Fort Worth region, and few bankers have as much experience in running a retail operation in Texas.
